A Holistic Approach to Child Development

Michael Lineman recently graduated from the Master's Program at Barry University for Occupational Therapy in 2025. The same year, he started his own business "Meeting Milestones Therapy LLC" while completing his clinical experiences at various pediatric school settings in South Florida. As a student at Barry University, he was awarded the "Congeniality Award" by his professors in the program. His vision is to continue to serve the pediatric population through his company with a holistic, team approach in order to provide the best overall treatment for each pediatric client.

Jonathan Rentler recently graduated from the Barry University Master's Program for Occupational Therapy in 2025. While in school, he continued to work as an occupational therapy assistant, allowing him to accrue knowledge and establish a unique therapeutic use of self while still excelling in graduate school. He was awarded the "Professionalism Award" at Barry University by his professors. He currently works at Bit-By-Bit Therapy, where he uses frequently sensory integration, mindfulness training, and hippotherapy.

Sarah Mayhew is a compassionate pediatric occupational therapist, practicing since 2018 all over the South Florida region. She has worked with clients in numerous settings, including outpatient, home health, and every level in the school system. She owns her own private practice called "Inspiring Kids Therapy LLC", where she uses a personalized client first approach while considering her vast different levels of occupational therapy firsthand experiences.

Alexandra Fernandez is a Florida native with seven years of experience as a speech language pathologist. She is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, earning her Master's Degree there. Her professional experience has taken her to New York and Indiana before returning to Florida. Alexandra has worked in private practice, acute care, and schools, where she provides services through individual, group, and teletherapy sessions. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families through evidence based care and was recognized by receiving the ASHA Award for Continuing Education. She is now launching her private practice to offer personalized, family-centered services. 

Dr. Alyssa Taglieri is an enthusiastic and kindhearted Physical Therapist from Mentor, Ohio. She graduated from the Cleveland State University Doctoral Physical Therapy program in 2024. Her clinical experience includes working at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities with young children as well as student athletes in the outpatient clinical setting. Additionally, she is currently working in the home health setting with goals to continue to pursue a career positively impacting the pediatric population. Having worked with such a diverse population of children, she has become a knowledgeable, well rounded pediatric physical therapist.  

Dr. Kyla Wagner graduated from Cleveland State University with her doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2024. She worked at the Achievement Centers for Children in Cleveland, Ohio for her clinical experience. During this experience, she worked at the non-profit organization helping children and adolescents with developmental delays reach crucial milestones and make progress toward recovery and progression.  She currently works at an outpatient orthopedic center, but aims to continue to serve the pediatric population with physical therapy. 

Daniela Sandoval graduated from Florida International University, achieving the title of a Registered Dietitian. She continued to pursue further education by receiving her Master's Degree from Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in Functional Nutrition. In 2022, she founded her company "Health Is Life" in South Florida, where she takes a holistic approach, integrating nutrition into a comprehensive wellness strategy that considers overall health, promoting balance and vitality in your daily life.

Marie Lineman is a 2020 graduate studying music education (BME) from Kent State University. She spent 4 years teaching music to children in grades PK-12, with her main focus being on teaching elementary aged students. After spending time teaching, Marie decided to go back to school to become a school psychologist and graduated in 2025 with her Master of Education degree. Marie is traveling to Florida from Ohio, where she is studying to obtain her Ed.S degree in school psychology with plans to graduate in 2027. Marie’s primary interests as a school psychologist are related to improving student behaviors and classroom success, which her sessions will focus on this weekend.
